A group of vandals is being blamed for destroying holiday decorations a family put up outside their north Westchester home.
Police say the incident happened on Loomis Drive in the Baldwin Place section of Somers. Maria Corcione, who owns the home, says she looked out her window Sunday morning and saw that the decorations had been trashed.
Corcione says she and her husband, Christopher, have displayed their own winter wonderland for the past seven years and spent hours fixing what the vandals destroyed.
Somers Police Department officials say they're looking into the vandalism at the Corcione home as well as a number of other similar incidents reported in the area.
