Detectives continue to comb the neighborhood for clues in the murder of a mailman in Mamaroneck, but they still don?t have any suspects. Police say the body of 36-year-old Steven Spina was discovered by his girlfriend in his apartment Monday. He died of multiple stab wounds. Just a month before the stabbing, police say Spina and his girlfriend were victims of vandalism. They say Spina had his tires slashed and his girlfriend had a car window smashed.
Police confirm they questioned a former boyfriend of Spina's girlfriend. That individual was implicated in two domestic dispute calls in Mount Kisco in 2002. However, officials say he is not considered a suspect. As detectives continue to canvass the neighborhood for any clues leading them to the killer, this community continues to mourn.
