Police say the teenage driver who hit and killed a 21-year-old Mahopac man Sunday may have been asleep at the wheel.
Matthew Denmark was killed while crossing Route 6N on his way home. Carmel police say 18-year-old Corey Edme was driving his car on Route 6N near Cherry Lane just after 3 a.m. when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel, crashed into a boat and trailer and then hit Denmark.
Charges have yet to be filed against Edme.
