Police say after a nine-month investigation, the murder of a Mount Vernon businessman has been solved.Last April, 47-year-old Glenn Brown was found shot to death inside his car. Brown?s business partner, 34-year-old Bronx resident Michael Mitchell, has been charged with the killing. Police say Brown and Mitchell were allegedly in a dispute over a building they jointly purchased in the Bronx during the early 1990s. Mitchell has been charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bail at the Westchester County Jail.When Mitchell was originally questioned, police say he grabbed a detective's weapon and shot him in the foot. As a result of that incident, Mitchell was charged with attempted murder of a police officer.
