Construction is back on at the massive Eastdale Village project in Poughkeepsie after more than two months of being stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 700-square-foot, multiuse project was able to restart since Gov. Andrew Cuomo included construction into the Phase 1 plan.
"We're very excited,” says Kyle Kirchoff, the site’s project manager. “It's been a very long 10 ½ weeks.”
The site now has new safety protocols in place, including PPE, hand-wash stations and social distancing guidelines.
There will also be no sharing of hand tools or equipment.
