Connecticut man arrested for allegedly stealing his own repossessed car

A Connecticut man was arrested for allegedly stealing his own repossessed car.
The man recently had his car repossessed and he allegedly went to the repo yard and drove off with it.
The Real Time Crime Center broadcasted an alert Friday morning that a stolen Mercedes SUV was traveling in White Plains.
When officers pulled him over in Greenburgh, the driver showed paperwork that he was the owner of the car. However, after checking with police in Connecticut, the driver was arrested for stealing his own car.
It was later discovered that the suspect was wanted on warrants in New Rochelle and in New York City.
He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
