Connecticut drivers are seeing a small increase at the pump as gas prices rise slightly across the state.
The statewide average for regular gas is $2.87 a gallon, up 2.6 cents from last week, according to GasBuddy.
That price is about 1 cent lower than a month ago, GasBuddy reported.
Prices varied widely across the state. GasBuddy data showed the cheapest station at $2.54 a gallon Sunday, while the most expensive reached $3.69 a gallon.
Nationally, the average price of gasoline rose 1.2 cents over the past week to $2.84 a gallon, GasBuddy said.
The national average is up 5.4 cents from a month ago and nearly 25 cents lower than a year ago, based on GasBuddy’s weekly price reports.
