Con Edison and Orange & Rockland Utilities are allowing reimbursements to customers who lost power.
They say customers who didn't have power for more than two days can fill out forms to get reimbursed for their losses.
Central Hudson told News 12 it does not offer reimbursements when the power is interrupted by natural causes, saying it should be covered by the property owners' insurance policies.

NYSEG says customers who are seeking damages as a result of a storm can file a claim through their own insurance company. It says in general, it is not responsible for damages caused by the use of electricity on people's premises, or that are the result of forces beyond their control, such as unplanned service interruptions.
