Commuters in the Hudson Valley didn't let fear take over Tuesday morning despite learning of the terror attacks in Belgium.
The attacks at a Brussels airport and metro station killed dozens of people and wounded more than 200 others. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Metro-North riders in Tarrytown and White Plains said they refused to let what happened disrupt their day.
"I'm not feeling threatened, I just generally don't," said Compton Maddux, of Nyack. "I didn't after 9/11 either. You just can't let people like that dictate your life"
Gov. Andrew Cuomo called for state troopers to be present at Grand Central Terminal and Pennsylvania Station in Manhattan. Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino asked individuals to report any suspicious activity they might see.
