Motorcyclists, firefighters and community members came together Wednesday to rally behind a fifth-grader from the hamlet of Thornwood who says he has been bullied at his school.
The rally was held at Columbus Elementary School for an 11-year-old named Joey.
His mother Kristin Palemara says Joey has been subject to name calling at school and she finally had enough.
Palemara says she didn't hold the rally to intimidate the bullies, but to raise awareness and show that the community is there to help.
