A charity group held a clothing drive in White Plains Saturday.
Catholic Charities worked with the Kmart in downtown White Plains to gather items for those in need during the holiday season.
Shoppers from Catholic Charities helped out by shopping for coats, hats, socks and gloves to give to the nearly 400 people involved with the program.
"It's about taking the spirit of Christmas and seeing how we can extend to those in need," said Kevin Sullivan, of Catholic Charities. "Today is just a wonderful opportunity to not think about ourselves but to think about our neighbors who are in need."
