Crime victims arrived at Hostos Community College Tuesday to talk about their experiences as a part of the Clothesline Project.
Organizers of the event hung 440 T-shirts covered in messages about the consequences of crime, from sexual abuse to gun violence. In addition, counseling booths have been set up so victims of violence can seek help.
As a part of the Clothesline Project, students from middle school through college created a video in which they talk about their experiences with crime in their neighborhoods.
