As Sunday morning services come to a close at Northway Church in White Plains, many congregation members wonder if it is the last time the church will have a building to meet in.
Northway Church leaders say they are hoping the school district will honor their agreement to allow them to hold services at Post Road Elementary school until July.
Claire Jenkins, a worship assistant at Northway Church, says the superintendent told them in April they had to leave by early May because of district policy forbidding denominational services to be held at the school.
The district also reportedly said use of the space for religious services was never part of their agreement.
Lawyers on both sides are talking and trying to come to an agreement.
