Students in Orange County got a taste of professional culinary cooking from a 'Chopped' champion. 
Chef and entrepreneur Ciaran McGoldrick gathered around the kitchen with culinary hopefuls from Warwick Valley High School on Tuesday. 
He helped the students prepare crispy chicken thighs with cider braised cabbage and sweet potato puree as part of their Home & Careers class.
The 29-year-old Culinary Institute of America graduate shared the secrets that earned him top nods in the 'Chopped' competition.
The Manhattan native owns the farm-to-table event catering business, 'Glenmere farm', in the Village of Florida.
