If you want to shop local, News 12 is helping you out by highlighting small businesses in the Hudson Valley that you can support on Small Business Saturday.

First, we're taking you to Tarrytown for some tasty treats that will make the perfect holiday gift!

Posh Pretzels is a 2022 Best of Westchester winning shop is dishing out handmade and decorated chocolate covered pretzels with chocolate imported from Belgium. "We were the first retail location to dedicate ourselves strictly to chocolate-covered pretzels. So that's been interesting to watch, that whole development, because people are always saying to me, well, how can you build a business off of one product, and here we are since 2014," says owner Ann Marie D'Erasmo.

D’Erasmo says their stuffed pretzels are a customer favorite, particularly the stuffed Nutella pretzel.

Next, there's a brand-new salon to get your hair done in Chappaqua. Paige Stelzl is the owner of Untied - a blow dry bar that does styling for events, or just your weekly dos!

Stelzl says she's gotten a lot of support from the community and that Friday and Saturdays get busy at Untied. She tells us that she appreciates her customers and reminds us why it's important to support small businesses. "Supporting a small business means supporting someone just like me, who is out here just trying to make a really hardworking living. I'm also hiring girls who are fresh out of school, so you're supporting my team."

For Black Friday Stelzl is running a 10% off gift card sale and for Small Business Saturday, she's giving 10% blow outs.
