Plans to bring a Chick-fil-a to Yonkers are officially on.
The planning board unanimously gave the OK during Wednesday night's meeting.
People living on Roxbury Drive filled up seats at the meeting to make their voices heard, but stormed out once the final decision was made.
Residents who live on the street have said that the popularity of the fast-food chain will cause traffic problems at the intersection of busy Central Avenue.
They had hoped the board would hear them out but say they felt defeated and unheard.
A Chick-fil-A representative was present at Wednesday’s meeting but did not make a comment at the podium.
