A new member of the Chester Police Department is asking for the public's help to win a grant.
He has four legs and cannot exactly speak, so his department is doing the asking.
First Lt. Lou is a K-9 officer German shepherd who was born in Hungary.
He was named after Lt. Louis Allen who died in Iraq in 2005.
Lou the dog specializes in explosive detection and patrol.
He is trying to win the Aftermath K-9 Grant for new training supplies and upgrades to his current equipment.
He loves chewy toys, medium rare filet mignon, long walks in Knapps View or Chester Commons Park and Paw Patrol.
