For the second year in a row, dozens of Bronx brides-to-be got a chance to pick out their wedding dresses in the borough, and it was all for a good cause.
Brides Against Breast Cancer created a one-stop shopping destination for future brides at the Pelham Bay and Split Rock Golf Courses as part of its nationwide Tour of Gowns.
About 1,000 designer and name-brand wedding gowns were on display, all at discount prices from 25 to 85 percent off.
There were also flowers, cakes and photographers at the event to help the brides-to-be feel like princesses for the day.
About 78 percent of every dollar that is raised will go toward resources for children and adults impacted by cancer.
Last year, the Tour of Gowns raised $1 million.
