Hundreds of players hit a softball field in Somers Sunday to raise money for children in third-world countries.
The daylong tournament honored Stephanie Crispinelli, a Somers resident who died during the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
Organizers say donations from the event will be used to help fund education in developing countries.
It marked the sixth year that the Somers community came together to host the tournament.
