Politicians, former Yankees and others grabbed their clubs today to raise domestic violence awareness.
Golfers played a charity event at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Scarborough to benefit former Yankees manager Joe Torre's Safe At Home Foundation.
Torre's foundation creates centers called Margaret's Place, which provide a safe room for students to go if they need counseling.
There are currently a dozen Margaret's Places in New York City and Los Angeles. Torre said he hopes to build another with the money raised today.
