Both federal and state charges are now resolved against Port Chester's former police chief who was accused of threatening his successor.
Charges against Joseph Krzeminski stem from him going to the home of Capt. John Telesca and threatening him, as well as failing to leave a Board of Trustees meeting.
In the federal case, the charges will be dropped if he stays out of trouble for one year.
In the state case, Krzeminski faces a fine.
The 36-year veteran retired in January. He was on medical leave since last September, one month after an investigation began into the disappearance of cash and cocaine from a police evidence room. The missing drugs were eventually located, but the money remains missing.
