The vigil was held at the First Congregational Church.
Gisela Marin's 19-year-old daughter, Jessica Santos, was starting her sophomore year in college in 2006 when she was the victim of a drive-by shooting in Yonkers.
"At first I was like 'OK, I'm just going to the hospital' and next thing you know, I'm shaking and I can't go," Marin says. "When I got there, she was gone already. It just felt like somebody sucked the air out of me."
There have been more than 350 mass shootings in America this year. A mass shooting is defined as an incident where at least four people are hurt.
