A student in the Chappaqua Central School District is spreading the love of reading.
Sarabeth Gottlieb, of Robert E. Bell Middle School, is spending her spring break connecting young readers.
District students from kindergarten to third grade are tuning in for a daily, 15-minute dose of story time through ZOOM video conferencing. ?"I know I always like when my teachers read out loud to me, so I was just thinking this is my favorite book so maybe kids would want to listen," says Gottlieb.
Gottlieb hopes to continue this for as long as school remains online.
