Jewish families in Westchester marked the second night of Hanukkah Monday.
The Chabad of Yonkers led a special public lighting of a large menorah at the Cross County Shopping Center.
There was live music, dancing and even treats.
"Whatever we have done today, that is great," Rabbi Hurwitz of Yonkers said. "But for tomorrow we can do even better, and that is the message we want to give everybody. Add in light, add in kindness, add in everything. That is the Hanukkah message."
Hanukkah, known as the Festival of Lights, lasts until Dec. 30.
