Yonathan Ramirez Argueta tried to leave the country, but before he made it to Central America, he was caught and extradited back to Suffolk County.

8h agoA Central Islip man has pleaded guilty Thursday to sexually abusing a child for four years.
Yonathan Ramirez Argueta, 28, says he began abusing the victim in 2018 when she was just 5 years old.
News 12 is told the child opened up about the abuse in April 2022 when she was 9 years old.
Ramirez Argueta tried to leave the country, but before he made it to Central America, he was caught and extradited back to Suffolk County.
He is expected to be sentenced to 12 years in prison.
