Three teenagers were arrested Wednesday when police say they stopped an stolen car and found a loaded handgun inside.

Police were called about a stolen vehicle from Newburgh that was being driven on Windsor Highway. During a traffic stop, they say officers discovered a loaded handgun and stolen license plates.  

Two 18-year-olds and a 16-year-old were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and stolen property.

Logan Delaney, 18, of Middletown; Edgardo Louis O'Neill, 18, of Middletown; and a 16-year-old male of Newburgh were charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property.

Delaney and O’Neill were held pending arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Part in Goshen. The adolescent offender was held pending arraignment in the Youth Part of County Court.
