A celebrity shoe designer from Westchester County is helping raise funds for the victims in Israel. 

Kara Mac has designed a pair of 'Star of David' heels, and says she plans on donating 100% of the proceeds to medical assistance charities in Israel.

Mac tells News 12 that even though she is not Jewish, the images surfacing from the tragedy impacted her in a profound way and she felt compelled to try and make a difference.  

"It's horrific horrifying what's going and came out of left field from what I see so I could not pull out a checkbook, so this is next best thing. Let's wear our pride on our heel," she says.
