The world got a chance to say goodbye to late rapper Earl “DMX” Simmons on Saturday.
The "Celebration of Life" was livestreamed from the Barclays Center at 4 p.m. 
The event was be closed to the public due to health and safety guidelines. 
Arenas are only allowed to open at 10% maximum capacity, and News 12 is told all COVID-19 testing guidelines and protocols will be followed for those attending. 
The NYPD released a statement via Twitter saying in part, “Tomorrow’s vigil for DMX at the Barclays Center is not open to the public. It is a ticketed event. Please avoid the area due to expected increased traffic.”
