CDC: Strep throat cases on the rise amid liquid antibiotic shortage

The CDC is now reporting strep throat cases are on the rise and spreading quickly.
The recent spike comes during a shortage of liquid amoxicillin - one of the medicines most commonly used to treat the infection.
Experts say this strain could cause you to feel more sick because the bacteria infection starts in the throat. It then spreads to the rest of the body.
