The 2021-22 flu season is now officially the longest one on record in the United States, according to a new report from the CDC.
Flu activity began to tick upwards in November and stayed high through mid-June.
There were also two peaks, one in December and another again in April.
In New York, there were over 125,000 confirmed cases.
