Two Yonkers police officers injured in crash while responding to burglary call

State police in Haverstraw are investigating a dangerous incident on the Palisades Parkway where children were seen by motorists Monday dangling from bus windows and holding hands while the vehicles were in motion.  

“The buses appeared to be full of young children hanging out the windows holding hands. Along with these buses, there were a few vans and cars which were obviously part of this caravan, allowing and encouraging this behavior,” said the witness. 

News 12 received an exclusive video from one of the witnesses who said that the buses were going 40 to 50 mph and blocking both lanes of northbound traffic.
