A catering truck caught fire and was destroyed early this morning in Ardsley.
Fire officials say they got a call about the fire around 4 a.m. today on Revolutionary and Heatherdell roads.
When crews arrived they found the truck fully engulfed in flames. It took crews about 30 minutes to put the fire out.
Ardsley Assistant Fire Chief Patrick Lindsay says two people were in the truck on their way to a movie set when the problems began. “They were driving and they noticed smoke. They stopped, got out, and the truck caught fire,” says Lindsay. He says mechanical failure most likely cause the fire.
There were no injuries.
