Police are investigating why someone drove a vehicle into the Kensico Reservoir and walked away.
Jeff Brogan was getting ready to go fishing Sunday morning when he spotted the Toyota with the trunk open and a baby carriage inside.
"I actually put all my gear down, jumped into the boat, went out there to see if there were any signs of life or bodies or anything out there," Brogan says. "Nothing was there that I could see so I called up DEP police."
Police hoisted the vehicle out of the water and contacted the Long Island owner, whom they found through the license plate number.
Police are still investigating the incident. They don't believe the car was submerged by accident, since the car had to be driven through a winding and wooded path.
