A Yonkers restaurant is gearing up for Super Bowl Sunday with orders fit for small gatherings.
"Super Bowl Sunday is the top of the mountain day. It's the busiest to-go orders we're going to have all year,” says Candlelight Inn owner John Tracy.
Tracy anticipates more orders but for small crowds due to the pandemic.
"We think we're going to have a lot more orders--pre-orders--but smaller,” says Tracy.
Customer Rich Brandon plans to host a small watch party with his wife and son.
Officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urge the public to be cautious.
"Please watch the Super Bowl safely gathering only virtually or with the people you live with," says CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky.
Residents in Yonkers tell News 12 they plan to enjoy the game as safe as possible.
"I'm hoping everybody, you know, takes caution, and just stay home and enjoy the game,” says resident Maureen Moore.
"It's OK, maybe two or three people in your family watching the Super Bowl, but a crowd? Forget it,” says Ralph Kendrick of Yonkers.
The CDC recommends people get creative this year by hosting outdoor watch parties or gathering virtually.
