A candidate for the county legislature is taking her allegations about voter fraud and suppression to the Westchester district attorney.
Yonkers Councilwoman Sandy Annabi claims that voters were denied access to voting machines and that some paper ballots were never counted in her September primary election. Annabi lost to incumbent Jose Alvarado by five votes.
The Westchester district attorney's office says it is investigating the allegations. Annabi says she has also brought her concerns to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Annabi is still on the ballot on other party lines and she says she doesn't want a repeat of September.
