Saint Peter’s University is holding an open house today, hoping to capitalize on the massive amount of attention is has received during the Peacock’s historic run in the NCAA tournament.

News 12’s Jim Murdoch was on the campus in Jersey City where he will be speaking with some prospective students.

Just 2,600 undergrad students and 800 graduate students call Saint Peter's home. For a bit of perspective – on Friday night, the Peacocks knocked off Purdue - a school that has 50,000 students on 2,600 acres of land.

The Jersey City school’s mission to attract more student can only be helped if they can knock off UNC in Philadelphia, and head to the Final Four.
