The Byram Hills School District has canceled several scheduled trips due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Superintendent Jen Lamia sent out a letter which reads in part, "We do not want students, chaperones and staff on environments where large groups from around the world are gathering. We also do not want to risk potential quarantine issues and difficult returning our children and others home."

 

Students were set to go to places like Washington D.C., Boston, Disney and others.

Other school events and local activities are still on schedule, according to the school.
