Police say a bus driver was attacked in Co-Op City.

A man got on the bus near 100 Dresier Loop around 3:45 p.m. and struck the operator's partition with a metal object, causing it to shatter.

The NYPD says the 58-year-old bus driver’s eyes were irritated by shards of glass. EMS took her to to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, according to the FDNY.

Police say she is expected to be OK.

The man rode away from the scene on a Citi Bike.
