Brush fire threatens Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Red Hook

A brush fire broke out Sunday afternoon at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Red Hook, threatening nearby structures and a dump truck loaded with logs.
The Red Hook Fire Company says flames reached 20 feet high behind the fake village on the property around 4:15 p.m.
Crews from multiple departments quickly responded, knocking down the bulk of the fire and protecting nearby exposures.
The fire was placed under control, and the scene was cleared about three hours later. No injuries were reported.
