A landmark in Bronxville will soon close its doors forever.
House of Botticelli will shut down after 25 years of business. Owner Fernanda Botticelli says it is time for her to retire.
Locals say that the store has been a wedding staple and a landmark in the community.
House of Botticelli joins a number of other businesses on the street that have closed up shop.
The store will officially close on June 30. Brides still waiting for custom orders will be notified of where to pick up their dresses after that.
The owner says that her most expensive dress, which normally sells for nearly $9,000, will be sold at a going-out-of-business price of about $800.
