A Bronx native is hoping to inspire others as she trains for the New York City Marathon.
Judith Rubenstein says she wasn't always a runner and led a pretty sedentary life until a Peace Corps trip to Jordan.
She says she found a passion for running while overseas. When she returned home, she turned her house into a course, running up and down several flights of steps every day.
Rubenstein says she may not be the fastest runner in the marathon next week, but she wants her personal challenge to inspire others to live a healthy lifestyle.
