Bronx man faces charges in Bronx River Parkway crash that seriously injured two people

Police say Tyshawn Bishoppe-Harris of the Bronx was traveling north Friday morning when he hit into the back of a pickup truck, sending it off the parkway and into a tree.

A man is now facing charges for a crash on the Bronx River Parkway which left two people with serious injuries.
Police say Tyshawn Bishoppe-Harris of the Bronx was traveling north Friday morning when he hit into the back of a pickup truck, sending it off the parkway and into a tree.
News 12 is told Bishoppe-Harris and a passenger then left the car at the scene and took off on foot.
The two were then picked up in another vehicle, which Westchester County Police identified as an Uber.
Bishoppe-Harris is charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
The two victims are still recovering at Westchester Medical Center.
