News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo says it will be a partly sunny Saturday for the Hudson Valley, but there is a chance for wintry mix for Sunday night.
NOW: Spotty shower chances continue into the evening, otherwise mostly to partly cloudy and much colder into Saturday morning.
NEXT: A dry start to the weekend tomorrow before Weather To Watch Sunday evening for what could be a wintry mix changing to rain. Still up in the air with the precipitation type. The News 12 Storm Watch Team will be watching closely.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Variably cloudy with lighter wind. Lows around 30.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Highs around 40 degrees. Lows around 29.
SUNDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH (EVENING) -- Mostly cloudy with a mix or rain arriving during the evening. The News 12 Storm Watch Team will need to watch the temperatures to solidify precipitation type. Highs around 42 degrees. Lows around 39.
NEXT WEEK: POSSIBLE WEATHER TO WATCH (MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE) -- A wet start to Monday morning. Then, watching another system that can bring a mix of rain/snow to the lower Hudson Valley on Wednesday. Daytime highs stay above average all the way through the end of next week.
