An art exhibition that reuses books to create one-of-a-kind art pieces is opening eyes in Ulster County.
The Saugerties Public Library is launching its 'Altered Books' exhibition.
Artists and artist teams installed temporary artwork inside the library.
The pieces are made from discarded car repair books that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.
There are more than 16 artists featured.
The art decorates the ceilings and windows of the library.
Guests can even touch some of the art.
There's a special event with the artists on April 14, and the show will be on display until the end of this month.
