It's a cold and foggy start this morning. Patchy dense fog will dissipate by mid-morning. Watch out for black ice from fog and snow melt yesterday. Today is the warmest of the month with highs near 50 degrees!
A cold front will pass through the region overnight and bring scattered snow showers on Sunday. A coating to 1" is expected, the highest totals could reach 1-2". Snow will end by noon on Sunday.
Colder air settles in Sunday night and sticks around through Monday. Overnight wind chills could drop to 0F, and Monday’s highs will likely remain in the 20s across much of the Hudson Valley. It will feel noticeably colder compared to the start of the weekend.
An active storm track moves in starting Tuesday. Prepare for icy travel and snow during the Tuesday evening commute but it goes from wintry to wet by Wednesday. Rain is expected to close off the week with temperatures above normal.
Very mild weather will move in next weekend with the potential for 60-degreees for the first time since last November.
