Rye Middle-High School was once again evacuated Monday morning after a bomb threat was found on the wall in a boy's bathroom.
Schools officials say the threat forced the evacuation of all students to a nearby indoor facility just after 9:30 a.m. A staff member told News 12 that everyone in the school was calm as they were transferred to the Osborn School.
Fire department vehicles closed nearby roadways as investigators swept through the buildings. Police, K-9 units and the county bomb squad eventually gave the all clear. Students were allowed to return at around 11:50 a.m.
This was the fourth threat to be made to the school this year.
Rye police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 914-967-1234.
