Some people in the village of Ardsley are on edge this morning after a bobcat was spotted in a backyard.
Photos captured the wild animal last week on Winding Road Farm in the village. The animal was also spotted by several residents, a police officer and DPW worker at nearby Pascome Park.
Ardsley Village Manager George Calvi says residents should take caution if they encounter the bobcat. "It is a wild animal, so people really should, if they see a wild animal like that, they should not get in any close contact."
Calvi adds there haven't been any other reported sightings, and he believes the bobcat may have already moved on.
