In Orange County, a community garden is thriving in Highland Falls!
The sensory garden is open 24/7 and specifically designed for people with cognitive disabilities.
Its purpose is to reconnect children who attend school outside of the district back to their community.
Orange and Rockland contributed to the planting process, assisting with the placement of self-sustaining plants and flowers indigenous to the area.
