It was the battle of the 'Blondes versus Brunettes' on the gridiron this weekend.
Dozens of women squared off on New Rochelle High School's football field to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association.
Organizers say every player on the field has been personally affected by the disease. "Women are one of the primary caregivers of persons living with the Alzheimer's Disease. We want to recognize their efforts, we want to celebrate them, but we also want to bring awareness around the whole concept that this is a disease that impacts the whole family," says Dozene Guishard, the Alzheimer's Association.
This is the secnd year of "Blondes versus Brunettes." Each player was sponsored, with all of the money going to the Alzheimer's Association.
