A two-alarm fire ripped through a Grand Concourse apartment complex on Monday.
News 12 is told that firefighters got the call at around 4:45 p.m. at a six-story apartment building.
EMS says the fire ignited in the basement and spread to the first floor.
It took over 100 firefighters about an hour to put out the blaze.
Emergency workers took two people to Lincoln Medical Center to be treated for smoke inhalation. One of those victims is in serious condition.
At least one family is displaced from the fire.
